Job Description:

The Inside Salesperson is primarily responsible for assisting TMMI's customers over the phone, internet, email, or in person and works closely with the outside sales staff to ensure a high level of customer service. Our Utah office also manages a small amount of inventory, and you will also be responsible for some shipping and receiving. TMMI offers ongoing training and education opportunities as well as competitive benefits and salary package.

Responsibilities:

• Have a general understand of vendor product capabilities, features, and benefits, as well as TMMI’s market conditions and product deliveries and warranties.
• Assist customers over the phone, internet, email or in person with orders, quotations, and product questions.
• Proactively follow up on customer orders, challenges, and needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and issues as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Assist outside sales with quoting and customer communications
• Assist with shipping and receiving of parts for our satellite warehouse facility in Utah for key OEM customers

Expected Qualifications:

• High level of technical aptitude.
• One or more year(s) of experience in inside sales at a distributor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SalesForce and similar programs
• Strong customer service orientation – both external and internal.
• Exceptional follow up skills
• A strong attention to detail and be well organized.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Time management – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Must be self-directed and able to complete complex tasks with little supervision or guidance.
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Expectations:

• College degree in a business discipline
• Previous experience in industrial distribution
• Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Epicor’s Prophet 21 (P21)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Location:
This position is based in the Murray, Utah office. This position is Monday-Friday. Infrequent travel is required.
