Our customers include leading Fortune 500 companies such as United Rentals, Hertz Equipment Rentals, Genie/Terex, Boeing, Hitachi, Port of Seattle, John Deere Remarketing, American General Finance / AIG, etc. bidadoo is now hiring for an inside sales representative. As featured in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Hot Business category, bidadoo is rapidly expanding to meet the tremendous growth in our Construction and Industrial markets.

In this role you will work with new and existing customers, actively recruiting new customers and building long term customer relationships. You will work with a broad range of primarily used construction and industrial equipment, selling our remarketing, auction, eCommerce and consignment services. You will work with companies in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, machinery and equipment sales and rental, mining, transportation, utilities, government, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities in key vertical markets
  • Consult with customers on the valuation and sales estimates of machinery and equipment.
  • Drive revenue through fees associated with our professional auction and consignment services – without sacrificing integrity
  • Develop a strategy and plan to effectively develop and manage your territories
  • Research and answer questions about equipment in support of our online auctions and remarketing activities
  • Assist with post-sale activities in support of creating the best online heavy equipment buying experience in the world
  • Establish strong, honest, long-term relationships with customers
  • Have a knowledge of new and used heavy equipment sales in the areas of construction, transportation, material handling, manufacturing, etc.

Background and Qualifications include:

  • At least 1 years of proven sales experience in inside sales and/or customer service role
  • Great phone presence and skills
  • Good construction, heavy equipment and truck knowledge
  • Proven revenue attainment record through proactive lead generation and consultative selling techniques – without scarifying integrity
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Good analytical, problem solving and research skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and applications
  • Familiarity and experience with internet technologies and sales as well as spreadsheets and research tools
  • Experience with buying and/or selling over the internet would be beneficial
  • Be an advocate for the company and our customers, and greatly enjoy selling
  • Self motivated with skills and attitude to excel in a start-up / entrepreneurial environment
  • Background in the areas which would be helpful include: new and used heavy equipment sales, equipment rental, machinery and equipment distributor, business valuation and appraisal consulting, equipment financing and equipment lease, business surplus, consignment services and auctions, etc.
