Overview / Purpose:

  • Developing critical customer relationships to understand the customer strategy and deliver their desired outcomes which translates into revenue.
  • Aligning the business resources to act on that understanding in order to secure a competitive advantage resulting in improved profitability and share.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for day-to-day communications with clients.
  • Capability to recognize the “unknown space” and uncover the potential of additional business opportunities within an existing client base.
  • Accountability for the overall client relationships and business outcomes.
  • Determine a vision and strategic direction for the organization's relationship with the client.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and service liaison between the client and ATL.
  • Work as an internal change agent to meet the needs of the strategic account.
  • Directly accountable for accurate budgeting and responsible for increasing revenue through coordinating regional win-back activities and/or the successful selling of additional core services and new products.
  • Responsible for Sales v Prior Year (%), Growth v Budget (%), Stretch Goal (%), Predictability, and Growth Initiatives.
  • Responsible for Company Growth, Margin, Divisional or Operating Unit Initiatives.
  • Up to 25% (local) travel is required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of strategic account management experience in a business-to-business environment
  • An understanding of organizational priorities
  • Experience with strategic accounts and opportunity planning
  • Multi-functional account team leadership background
  • Demonstrated achievement with joint development, co-creation, and negotiating skills
  • Previous experience and aptitude for selling a service
  • Strong strategic thinker with financial/business acumen
  • Demonstrated results with value analysis and opportunity insight
  • Ability to listen and respond accordingly, accurately, and succinctly
  • Apparent energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
  • Proven track record of successful multi-tasking in a detail-orientated environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail, and internet functions
