JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Support Coordinator provides direct support in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure the branch can meet its growth targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists sales engineers through each step of the sales process, helping resolve any concerns or questions while efficiently processing, tracking, and shipping orders.
  • Prepares quotations according to bid drawings and specifications with accurate configurations.
  • Identifies and creates lists of potential clients while maintaining sales databases.
  • Compiles daily lists of leads and delegates them to sales team associates.
  • Maintains an accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative professionals.
  • Handles sales department or team administrative duties, including scheduling client conferences and meetings.
  • Helps customers select products based on the customers' needs, product specifications, and interests.
  • Coordinates order flow with production and secures best shipping method to meet customer due dates.
  • Aids management team members and executives, as needed.
  • Performs data entry duties regarding metrics, sales figures, and other key data.
  • Creates and processes sales in a timely manner.
  • Expedites rush order requests and alters sales orders and shipping information as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products and orders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR LICENSES:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred
