The basic purpose of this role is to lead the SoundTalks customer journey to generate interest around the product with internal and external customers/stakeholders through product knowledge and excellent communication skills. The Associate Key Account Manager, SoundTalks will manage the pre and post sales processes to ensure worthwhile customer feedback and a positive customer experience. This role will collect customer information to be used to demonstrate the value of the product to the customer and to assess customer satisfaction. The incumbent will use this information to generate insights for the company, and the customer, that continue to drive the product forward through expanding sales or product improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates, executes & monitors pilot projects with an aligned cross functional project team (incl. representatives from our customers); monitors budget.
  • Analyzes pilot results and determine the most viable, scalable commercial business model in the intersection of technology and pharmaceutical products, in support of and alignment with other global and local functions (e.g., GSM, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing etc.) on feasibility and value proposition.
  • Integrates and transitions the solution into a BI business for larger scale application of the newly developed business model or solution.
  • Responsible for collection of customer data - together with KAM's and KAV's - for value demonstration of SoundTalks and data value demonstration.
  • Uses accessible data resources from customers to demonstrate value for the customer (and the business) and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures a positive customer experience by engaging customers on installations, alerts and implementation of an intervention plan.
  • Coaches the attending veterinarian and/or production system leadership - together with KAV's - on how to set up intervention strategies.
  • Provides second level customer support escalated from Customer Service and removes systematic roadblocks.
  • Escalates complex customer issues to Data Global Strategic Marketing or SoundTalks.
  • Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures.
  • Immediately reports noted/observed violations to management.
  • Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts to maintain BIVI's excellent reputation within the animal health community and internally.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. With a Bachelor's degree must have a minimum of one to two (1-2) years’ experience in either an agricultural sales position, precision agriculture, row crop sales position, data/technology management or leadership role in a producer organization of any livestock species or row crop industry or a combination of such positions.
  • In lieu of a degree must have eight (8) years industry experience in the livestock segment, precision agriculture and/or at least six (6) years in a producer organization within livestock species or row crop industry with progressive roles including a leadership position.
  • General knowledge of swine/livestock industry practices and/or row crop industries practices and/or precision agriculture preferred.
  • Aptitude in working with and problem solving using digital tools and applications as well as high learning agility with the ability to learn technical product knowledge quickly.
  • Must demonstrate an aptitude and desire to sell and gain market share.
  • Proven communication, negotiation and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and an aptitude for digital platforms and applications.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
