JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Manager supports the Corporate Sales & Business Development Mgr. for customer commercial issue resolution, quote submission and coordination, and other assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage sales activity and new product development for assigned accounts.

Manage quarterly raw material adjustments (CRU index) including various offal share programs with customers.

Assure that quotations are presented to customers in a timely fashion while meeting corporate requirements for profitability.

Assure customer needs are accurately and clearly communicated to the company.

Meet with customers as required to assess needs and changes in customer attitudes/expectations.

Develop and maintain relationships with strategically important customers

Coordinates internal communication, acquisition- and marketing activities for Awarded and Expected business

Coordinates and assists with re-pricing activities for service or production parts as assigned.

Coordinate and track customer and supplier reimbursements (Acquire PO, Invoicing and Confirming payment)

Support and assist with cost estimation functions where needed.

Retrieve and download all customer supplied math and quote information and assist with obtaining missing information from purchasing and engineering.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Five years or more experience in sales and marketing (extensive automotive industry experience preferred).

Proven communication skills both verbal and written.

Experienced in GD&T and blueprint reading encouraged.

General knowledge of tooling is encouraged.

Strong research ability with specific reference to customer specific and specification requirements.

Working knowledge Process/System for ECN changes and launches.

Competence with MS Office software, with advanced Excel experience.

Plex Software knowledge desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
