Commercial Account Sales Rep

If you have a background in commercial sales, outside sales, or business development, Corky's Pest Control has an exciting opportunity for you! A businesses success is based on two things, quality service and skilled sales personnel, and pest control is no different. This is a position for true "hunters", those salespeople who can get past the gatekeepers of potential commercial customers and get to the decision makers. You'll consult with them on their pest control needs, identify sales opportunities, and close & retain business.

What You'll Do... As a Commercial Sales Rep for Corky's Pest Control, you'll work as part of the sales team within a fast-paced environment. You'll become an expert in Corky's Pest Control's products, services, programs, and pricing to enable you to be a truly consultative sales rep to a wide variety of commercial customers. You'll manage all aspects of the "lead-to-customer" journey - handling inbound and self-generated leads to phone and email, conducting consultative needs assessments, documenting customer data in our web-based-CRM, providing estimates for services, delivering electronic proposals, and collecting payment information. To keep those sales coming, you'll maintain an extensive sales pipeline targeting sales leads in our target markets, ensuring new and existing customers have the right products and services to meet their needs. And, of course, delivering outstanding customer service all along the way.

Who You Are... So, what does it take to be successful as a Commercial Sales Rep at Corky's Pest Control? For starters, you'll have an inner drive to make the sale and make the customer happy! You'll also have...

• 
  A bachelor's degree in a business-related field -or- at least one year in a sales/sales support role -or- one year of account-based customer management
• A minimum of one year working with a web-based customer database or CRM
• Knowledge of Pest Control is a plus
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritizing multiple tasks and maximizing performance while remaining customer-focused
• The ability to understand customers' needs, handle objections, and close business
• The ability to learn and retain complex pest control industry knowledge (i.e., general pest information, treatment methods, service protocols, etc.) through company provided online, classroom & field training
• A strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite
• The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English - fluency in additional languages is also appreciated
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
• The ability to travel around Southern California.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
