Business Development Representative

Lipsey Logistics, based in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking to immediately hire highly qualified experienced sales associates to market our asset and asset light (brokerage) services to new and dormant customers.

This highly compensated salary plus uncapped commission role can be highly rewarding to a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with internal and external customers creating unique logistics solutions and long term relationships. The role will be responsible for identifying and successfully managing a robust sales pipeline for prospective clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Achievement of sales and margin goals
• Proactively identify and maintain a solid pipeline
• Update internal CRM tool with activity on a daily basis
• Ability to work internally and externally with all customers to develop long term healthy relationship

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of related inside or outside sales experience in Transportation
• College Degree a plus but not required
• Ability to travel
• Experience engaging at all levels within client organizations
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Strong self-motivator with minimum supervision required
