JOB SUMMARY: Sales activity for Automotive Components Group. Works to reach the objectives set by the Manager for the department to reach company goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Activities – Visit Customers, Suppliers, maintain good relationship, and obtain more new business opportunities

Launching new business - Quotation, Price negotiation, GTOP entry, Progress management, Develop business scheme, Contract/Agreement, PPAP, Packaging, Tooling, VTT, and other requests from customer and supplier

Budget control – Monthly and Yearly Sale & Profit variance analysis

Maintain current business - Price negotiation, Price adjustment, Keep and increase profitability, Investigate and fix the price discrepancy

Additional projects or reporting as required by management

Train Sales Representative and Sales Assistant and support their job

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Support Manager/Account Manager to develop new business, new customers and suppliers

· Make a plan of sales activity and review the result with Manager/Account Manager

· Support Operations team to negotiate with customers and suppliers for sales related items

· Achieve sales and gross profit commitment

· Propose and implement the work efficiency and standardization

· Understand Great Plains (Accounting System), Provia (Warehouse Management System), and SACLA

· Intra-department cross function capability

· Oversee and resolve Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable issues for the accounts responsible for.

· Manage project and if necessary, hold a meeting, make meeting minutes and follow up progress after the meeting to smoothly launch new business or solve problems etc

· Train Sales Representative and Sales assistant, give them advice and support their job

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, special skills, licenses & certifications):

Education

University diploma or Bachelor Level, or experience equivalent

Experience

Three or more years in the related area, preferably with automotive industry or international trading experience, and/or with knowledge on supply chain and inventory control

Special Skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Customer services skills

Knowledge in the INCOTERMS and law

Negotiation skills

Leadership skills

Experience with new projects or business

ESSENTIAL MENTAL FUNCTIONS:
