POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for driving sales growth in the Subscriber Acquisition channel for key partner program initiatives. Primary responsibilities will include building and growing distribution in the National Retail space within our partner programs. Must display a strong working knowledge in third-party labor within National Retail, building key relationships with partners, store managers and dealers to facilitate the achievement of staffing and activation targets. Must be able to strategize, forecast, formulate a plan and execute on a plan to achieve key performance indicators. This position is expected to serve as a working director, leading from the front while also being able to lead and inspire the team to achieve in their own right. The ability to influence, effectively sell in an intercept environment and bring that out in others is a must.

Ability to work cross functionally with other departments within the organization to get what is needed for your team to be successful. Identify team and program needs, then work proactively to solve for these needs to position the team for success. Strong follow through and organization is imperative.

This role must be able to think strategically, plan and problem solve to not let anything stand in the way of achieving results. Someone with a find a way mentality, eliminate the excuses and make it happen. Positive attitude is a must, someone that doesn’t dwell on the issues or focus on the negative but on what they can control and improve.

Effectively managing their priorities and time to meet partner and store demands while completing necessary updates and executive summaries on the status of all projects. Effective communication skills to articulate status updates both in depth and high-level executive summaries both internally and externally with our partners. Ability to make a decision and support that decision.

A high level of Investment in the team to develop and strengthen their skill set to continually raise the bar in what they can do and prepare them for where they want and need to go. Ability to effectively manage a team and provide clear direction and expectation.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Assume full responsibility for all sales, activations and business development for National Retail programs and partnerships. Must be able to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and target goals.
  • Manage a team of National Account Managers ensuring that they consistently meet the set goals and needs of the position, organization, partners within their area of responsibility. Evaluate their performance quarterly and take corrective actions to achieve the necessary results.
  • Employee life cycle management, hire, train, document, terminate, develop and hold the team accountable to expectations.
  • Provide clear guidance and direction to subordinates such as setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, work allocations and problem resolution.
  • Ensure PerfectVision delivers on all objectives and commitments to business partners as it relates to your area of responsibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the partners, National Retail store management and dealers associated with your area of responsibility.
  • Create new revenue opportunities for PerfectVision, such as partner program opportunities, National Retail partnership opportunities and other growth opportunities.
  • Develop, implement and maintain core training topics, such as helping sales team members position new programming offers and packages, defining features, solution selling, attachment sales and overall marketing strategies.
  • Work directly with clients to drive and increase sales of the client’s products and services through training programs, national retail programs and key initiatives.
  • Host regular meetings with the team to set expectations, clear direction and to ensure there is a clear plan in place that is being executed daily to achieve results.
  • Be an active participant and source of knowledge and insight in meetings with partners and PerfectVision leadership.
  • Resolve escalated issues from the partners, dealers or National Retail stores to ensure satisfaction.
  • Listen and hear your team’s obstacles and work to remove them so they can be successful.
  • Manage expense reports for compliance and effective use of company resources.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain appropriate service levels for the National Account Managers through hands-on coaching, mentoring, training, and management.
  • Ensure exceptional service levels are met and we are consistently meeting the needs of our partners and requirements of the programs we support.
  • Take initiative while working with minimal supervision and under deadlines to achieve set program targets.
  • Think imaginatively and intuitively to act as a leader in identifying process improvements.
  • Multi-task effectively to manage daily workload in a fast-paced environment and be adaptive to changes in priorities and in-flight projects.

Education

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor degree in business preferred

Experience

  • Three to five years of experience in National Retail sales required
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience required, working with the dealer base, a plus.
  • Two to Three years leading a sales team required
  • Experience with marketing and business plan development, a plus.
  • Knowledge of metrics and factors that drive dealer activity and contribute to dealer success.

Computer Skills

  • Knowledge in Microsoft AX, SalesForce and Power BI a plus.
  • Computer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar to perform various functions, importing/exporting documents, and calculating numbers.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Outlook. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, sending, forwarding and replying to incoming e-mail, attaching computerized files, and utilizing calendar and task reminders.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Word. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, editing, naming and saving documents, formatting text, and printing.
  • Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating presentations, adding new slides, previewing a presentation, using graphic images from various sources, adding animation, applying a template, adding slide transitions, using outlines and the drawing toolbar.
