This position works out of our Lake County location in the Diagnostics Division.

What You’ll Work On

Primary Responsibilities

The Regulatory Project Manager is responsible for developing, executing, managing, and supporting projects and initiatives, primarily focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) project and initiatives.

  • Engages with DEI workstreams and organization management to understand and align on strategic DEI priorities; supports execution of strategy
  • Collaborates with DEI workstreams and organization management to identify workstream goals, objectives, and deliverables; initiates and manages DEI projects and initiatives, tracks progress against goals, and manages resource requests; collaborates with a global cross-disciplinary team to achieve project and initiative objectives
  • Keeps current with, identifies, and shares global diversity, equity and inclusion-related trends and benchmarking; coordinates with internal and external teams related to DEI
  • Translate business objectives into effective learning solutions by collaborating across the organization.
  • Develops and executes a project plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Gathers lessons learned and obtains final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders
  • Communicates project progress and coordinates meeting agendas by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to sponsors, leads, and project teams
  • Coordinates resources to ensure project needs are addressed; effectively assigns tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities and availability; and takes initiative to identify and escalate issues, as appropriate
  • Ensures that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated for all identified stakeholders and resources at the project, workstream, and program level
  • Create and maintains central location of training tools for entire organization.
  • Drive learner engagement through surveys, focus groups, and qualitative analysis and feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree
  • 7 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven years relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with project management and general business principles required
  • Consistent and strong attention to detail, good judgement, and strong time management skills
  • Experience managing projects in complex, matrixed, global environments
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to communicate and interact with colleagues across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous knowledge and/or background related to corporate DEI change management initiatives strongly preferred
  • Ability to interact with diverse organizations and cultures, and ability to influence others within and outside of job area
  • Previous background in training development and roll-out strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in IT tools deployment desired, such as Website development, SharePoint tools, Instructional Design, etc.
