Position Summary:
Empower Pharmacy’s high performing Sales organization consists of Sales Development Representatives responsible for setting up qualified Sales Accepted Lead (SAL,) meetings for the sales organization. In this role, the Specialty Sales Development Representative (Specialty SDR) are tasked with identifying and researching potential customer opportunities and allocating those opportunities to the appropriate sales representative for the Specialty areas of Empower Pharmacy. These Specialty areas consist of: Women’s/Men’s Health, Pellets, and Dermatology. The Specialty SDR is trained to identify, qualify, contact, and allocate accounts located nationwide. They use their proficiency for digital communication to establish contact with key clinical decision makers. The Specialty SDR will be trained to possess detailed knowledge of facility processes, trends in assigned specialty area, competitor intel for assigned specialty area, and pharmacy protocols. The Specialty SDR also carries out planned campaigns designed to provide important information to existing and potential accounts. The Specialty SDR is an expert in data mining, online research, and identifying contacts and potential client partnerships, helping the Inside Sales Team maximize revenue potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Remains up to date on new products and regulatory changes
  • Executes online research
  • Searches, locates, and identifies targeted leads for Specialty area with Zoominfo and other tools
  • Utilizes digital expertise to identify contacts and determines best means for initial contact
  • Adept in shifts in specialty market area and competitor trends, changes, and other dynamics
  • Responsible for keeping other SDR peers trained about specialty market and competitor changes
  • Initiates contact with decision makers to introduce Empower Pharmacy’s Specialty products and services
  • Collaborate with SDR Manager to create high-performing campaigns to support assigned Specialty area.
  • Drive collaborative initiatives with inside, field, and specialty sales peers to maximize opportunity dollars
  • Updates and enhances qualifying questions for specialty area to meet shifts in specialty area market
  • Optimize key words with marketing to improve prospecting and email campaigns for specialty area
  • Responsible for entering all data and new leads to enter in the CRM along with competitor details
  • Updates each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information
  • Initiates contact with inactive accounts for specialty area to restart ordering
  • Maintains a minimum number of high-volume outgoing communications
  • Maintains a high standard of professionalism in their verbal and written communications
  • Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices
  • Implements planned sales strategies for specialty area based on analytics and customer requests
  • Lead some meetings to drive specialty area awareness
  • Train, present, and call coach new Sales Development Representatives in assigned specialty area.
  • Communicates facts and never makes invalidated claims
