Job Description

The Medical Product Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales leads for medical equipment and products. The position will develop phone-based revenue generation by establishing ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers using excellent telephone sales and communications skills.

Sales Associates will contact business targets through established and new customer contact lists, initiation of prospect calls, and following up on leads.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifies sales prospects by using lists and leads from trade shows, websites and industry publications.
  • Cold calls sales prospects to generate profitable product sales.
  • Documents all customer communications in the contact management (CRM) software.
  • Educate and inform prospects about medical product offerings
  • Collaborate with management to determine necessary strategic sales approaches and develop calendar of activities to continually work prospect list
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Support sales forecasting and budget processes
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
  • Supports Engineering & Manufacturing in the continuous improvement of product quality through the communication of customer needs and preferences.
  • Maintains and prepares customer and sales reports as required
  • Attend periodic sales training when applicable

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of telemarketing experience in a B2B environment preferably healthcare, capital equipment, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientated.
  • Ability to thrive on managing multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Experience in an ISO manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in small, growing companies a plus.
  • Leadership, Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Ability Required
  • The position requires an ability to work well in a fast-paced sales/service environment, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  • Performs a variety of tasks in order to accomplish goals developed by company management.
  • Must be able to solve problems of a routine nature and understand when to escalate issues.

Schedule & Pay

Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
Generally, work normal office hours, but may sometimes work evenings or weekends to meet customers’ needs.

$20 - $24 per hour (DOE) + Commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
