Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Director of Strategy & Corporate Development . This position will be located in Eugene, Oregon.
The Fall Creek Director of Strategy & Corporate Development is responsible to craft the strategy and oversee the strategic portfolio while ensuring its alignment with the company's growth objectives. There are two key functions: strategy and corporate development. The strategy function is responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s long-term strategic plan, while the corporate development function implements the external elements of the strategy set forth by the organization. The Project Management Office (PMO) carries out the execution of the internal elements of the strategy, with support and guidance from the Strategy & Corporate Development team. The three elements (strategy, corporate development, PMO) must work in harmony and be adaptable to new information, as well as strategic and tactical changes. Maintaining this harmony is essential for the success of Fall Creek.

What you bring to Fall Creek:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING
- Typically requires a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a comparable role.
- A confident, capable oral communicator and presenter.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills are essential, including the ability to create compelling executive briefs and presentation materials.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Superior project management and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current agribusiness industry trends
- Self-motivated, with a positive and professional approach to management.
- Requires good judgment and the ability to positively influence decision making.
- Must espouse professional and ethical business practices.
- Must exemplify and adhere to company values.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual capability (oral and written communication) in Spanish and English.
- Coursework or training in project management.
- Experience working in Agricultural science in a B2B environment.
