Position Description:

The primary and ultimate responsibility of the Sales Floor Team Member representative at Tire Mart & Co is to generate sales and cultivate customer loyalty. Must be able to assist customers with product knowledge to make sure they find the best product that fits their needs. In addition, they are responsible to maintain a clean, neat and organized store, and are expected to perform a variety of cross-functional tasks as assigned by their Leader or Supervisor. Must have a positive attitude and great customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities but are not limited to :

• Demonstrates good customer service skills.
• Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Follow all shop safety policies and procedures.
• Explain services and products to customers.
• Look up information for various applications.
• Operate point of sale hardware and software.
• Prepare and inspect work orders, Customer Assessment Forms, and Vehicle Inspection Forms.
• Answer phone calls and acknowledge walk-in customers with a positive attitude.
• Being able to multi-task in between various tasks required to perform a job.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Work authorization
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred
• Excellent communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to follow up with customers
• Tire & wheel or Mechanical knowledge preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Experience and desired to work with technology
• Must be bilingual(English and Spanish)
• Physical Ability Requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone occasionally. Ability to move around at Tire Shop and other work sites, including the ability to maneuver in tight or small places.
• Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. And that may occasionally weigh more than 25 lbs.

Salary: $30,843.00 - $39,280.00 per year
