Insurance Inside Sales Specialist in Fort Myers, FL
Brown & Brown of Southwest Florida's is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as a Telemarketer (AKA Inside Sales) for our Commercial Insurance Team for either our Fort Myers or Naples offices. This individual will be responsible for developing new customers, sourcing leads, and setting appointments for licensed Producers. This individual will be supporting Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits sales teammates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Place phone calls to potential clients in specific industries from our computerized directory
Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales program
Generate a minimum of 5 leads per day
Set appointments with prospective customers
Identifies prospects by reading telephone and zip code directories and other prepared listings.
Utilize our agency management system.
Manage prospect database
Understand the basics of the insurance so can communicate our competitive advantage
Refer customer complaints to supervisor for quality control
To communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers always
Secures information by completing data base backups.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned
