Reports To: Commercial Service Sales Manager

Job Summary: The Service Sales Representative is responsible for expanding the Service Departments customer base as well as nurturing current client relationships for future business. This position is responsible for exclusively selling HVAC Preventative Maintenance agreements.

Expectations: Accountable for initiating new client prospects/contacts. Generate proposals to meet needs for HVAC preventative maintenance. Reports and forecasts sales results. Meets annual sales goals (new business and renewals.)

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with HVAC preferred.
• Experience with Sales Force preferred.
• Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Willing and able to make cold calls and follow through with leads.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Work well with other employees and within the company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with clients via phone, email, or personal contact.
• Perform interviews/surveys with potential and current clients to determine needs.
• Assemble and present proposals including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Follow-up on status of proposals and modify their status as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date information within Sales Force.
• Maintain knowledge of industry issues through continued education and participation in business-related organizations.
• Increase customer base by utilizing social networking entities.
• Meet or exceed annual Sales Plan Objectives.
• Prepare sales activity reports for Sales Manager.
• Develop accurate estimate service agreements by obtaining:Job location and distance from point of labor.

List of equipment indicating type, quantity, size, and accessibility.
Defined scope of maintenance work for each piece of equipment.
Company labor costs and sale rates.
Company labor efficiency factor (daily non-chargeable time)
Company truck and travel rates.
Company cost markup and gross profit margins.
Liability adjustment factors (For repair coverage/full service only).

Authority:

• Authorized to submit proposals up to $5000 without approval from Sales Manager.
• May entertain clients through lunch, dinner, or other reasonable activities.

Compensation: Base salary plus commission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
