Now Hiring - Legal Business Development Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Coordinator in our Santa Clara office.This Business Development Coordinator will be in charge of sales activities in cooperation with the business development manager. This includes but is not limited to management of preparation of presentation and proposal materials; developing client-oriented sales materials and marketing material; support with organizing, supervising, and executing events and initiatives related to the business.

This is an exempt position requiring flexibility in work hours. This position may involve occasional travel to other firm offices or events. A hybrid work arrangement is available for this position.

Job Description

• Collaborates with the Business Development manager and attorneys in preparing pitches and proposals.
• Assists with the development of client-facing marketing materials, social media posts and business plans.
• Responsible for the planning and management of practice-specific events, including in-person and virtual events. Leads efforts with post-event ROI and analytics. Works with the management team to promote programs and assist with event follow up.
• Assists with the collection and maintenance of representative experience.
• Works with appropriate business development team in maintaining the firm’s proposal tracker, experience database, and other systems that store required information for pitches and proposals.
• Proactively makes recommendations including but not limited to programs and/or process efficiencies.
• Occasional travel to other offices and/or events required.
• Handles sensitive and/or confidential information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• 50% Travel.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required.
• Human resources experience in a tech company is preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Workspace.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and language usage, as well as standard business correspondence best practices.
• Excellent proofreading skills. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and foster successful, working relationships with legal and professional staff while providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
• Event planning experience is preferred.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
