Now Hiring - Customer Experience Sales Rep in Midlothian, VA

Sales Representative Midlothian-based Capitol Granite, the leading manufacturer and installer of granite, quartz and solid surface countertops in central Virginia is seeking an experienced Sales Representative.

Job Purpose:

Grow company organically through sales to new customers base by converting walk-in traffic to sales orders through leading, discovery, and advocating comprehensive solutions.

Duties:

* Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.

* Develops sales by understanding needs; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.

* Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products

* Prepares customer quotes and negotiates sales within company pricing guidelines with back office support.

* Closes sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts.

* Works closely with Accounting/Credit, Customer Service, CAD/Templating, Production, and Installation to ensure a positive customer experience.

* Services existing accounts and new accounts in territory.

* Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Shift:

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM & Every other Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Minimum 5 years sales and/or customer experience.

Prefer knowledge of construction and home improvement products and services for kitchen and bath applications.
