Who we need

We are seeking an Event and Marketing Manager for Craft Hall. This position is responsible for selling, planning and coordinating all aspects of private events and functions at Craft Hall. This position will be responsible for the overall coordination and hands-on execution of all assigned on-premise and off-premise events and will be the key liaison between the client and all internal and external operating partners in order to ensure a flawless event. Working most events and Saturdays and Sundays are required.

General

• Work all hours assigned, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Exhibits excellent and consistent communication skills - both with internal team members and clients utilizing phone, video, and in-person modules
• Self-motivated, time management skills a must

Events:

• Develop working budgets and work with the client through cost details
• Contract and menu development and management.
• Proficiency in TripleSeat is a HUGE plus!
• Maintain Event Calendars
• special events planning calendar
• Public events calendar
• Entertainment calendar

• Planning and implementing promotional campaigns for Craft Hall

Sales & Marketing

• Responsible for identifying the appropriate approach for selling the event space and pricing
• Research and coordinate various event vendors such as audiovisual, photographers and entertainment, etc.
• Marketing research on current trends to stay up to date with customers
• Responsible for putting together a sales and marketing plan once familiar with the event space and opportunities and limitations.
• Collaborate with the corporate Marketing Team to develop marketing and sales collateral, promotions, ticketed events, and special projects
• Assist in the management of sponsors/exhibitors on-site at events, where appropriate.
• Develop branding and marketing brainstorms and plans
• Public Relations
• Liaison for public relations
• Spokesperson for media

• Assist Social media manager
• From observation and analysis, create projects that create change and improvement
• Administrative duties, as needed
• Marketing Databases with a specific emphasis on: patrons, past private party hosts, event planners, alumni coordinators & current employees, etc.

Compensation

• Salary Package $55,000 plus guarantee end of year bonus
• Paid time off after 180 days
• Medical Benefits after 90 days
