The Senior Director of Hospital Sales will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and leading the Hospital Sales Directors, growing the Specialty Inpatient (SIP) business within the four walls of the hospital. This is a high-level sales leadership position that will assist the Directors in navigating the intricacies of the hospital / health system decision making process to discover new business opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Weekly / Quarterly / Yearly New Business goals
- Activity metrics & key prospect development
- Hot Prospect Pipeline
Job Responsibilities – Grow the Specialty Inpatient (SIP) Business:
- Manage a team (10+ individuals) of Director of Hospital Sales
- Develop key relationships within the 4 walls of hospitals
- Ensure team is following the ImageFIRST sales process
- Full knowledge of competition’s strengths and weaknesses
- Achieve quarterly targeted new business growth goals
- Review all sales activities in CRM system
- Ensure weekly sales reports are accurate
- Proposal review and approval
- Agreement review, negotiation assistance, and approval
- Expense report review and approval
- Commission report review and approval
- Work with sales leaders and GM’s on strategic planning
- Ensure team follows pre-install and install guidelines
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly debriefs with team
- Work with team on forecasting and maintaining required hotlist
- Consistent field rides with all members of team
Job Requirements:
- 5 years hospital sales experience
- 10 years professional experience in health care
- Proven track record of a minimum of 7 years sales management experience
- Minimum Travel requirement 50%
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Ability to manage long term relationships and networking skills
- Comfortable dealing with VP level and above
- Great organizational and time management skills
