Now Hiring - Financial Services Sales Operations Support Specialist in San Diego, CA

The Operations Support Specialist will ensure all assigned customer transactions are finalized and processed efficiently to meet the daily operations objectives of the organization. The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely approval of daily customer transactions to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional service to our customers.

Some responsibilities to include:

• Review and approve daily sales transactions for processing, ensuring each is compliant and meets all operating procedures.
• Review and approve scheduled payment arrangements, ensuring each is compliant and meets all operating procedures.
• Verify and update customer account discrepancies and account information to ensure successful processing.
• Engage and work with production teams at various levels within the organization to resolve account discrepancies, identifying and escalating to the appropriate team members when needed.
• Assist in identifying operational bottlenecks or inconsistencies in process, offering suggestions to streamline and maximize efficiency so to improve company performance.
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operations performance and forecast reports as assigned.
• Conduct audits of production performance reports, processes, and procedures as needed.
• Provide team support by being cross-trained in transaction and data entry duties to provide assistance to other staff as needed.
• Work cross-functionally on timely delivery of department objectives, special projects, and team deliverables.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent ability to work with a high level of accuracy while maintaining high productivity with a proven record of accomplishment consistently maintaining a low error rate.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong basic math skills with the ability to think analytically.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong familiarity with Excel; utilizing formulas, shortcuts, and reporting tools.
• Extremely reliable and dependable with strong attendance record.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $17.50 to $19.00 per hour. Individual salaries within those ranges takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
