Base Salary plus COMMISSIONS (WHEN YOU SELL)!

You will be responsible for managing content, communities, and engagement on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms for our retail & wholesale businesses.. You will sell to new clients and upsell to existing clients that will earn you commissions. Potential to make $60,000 to $80,000 with the commissions.

As the social media leader, you will be responsible for developing, sustaining and growing the company’s brands and new business objectives through social media, content and video. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging all content marketing while generating and executing new ideas to support the Client's branding and new business objectives.

As a Sales leader you will have your own territories (inside sales) that you will manage and sell to. There will be another associate that provides customer service to your existing accounts and new accounts.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Create and develop a strategic social media plan leveraging appropriate content that properly positions the company as a thought leader in its areas of expertise
  • Provide a flexible, creative approach to planned and spontaneous ideas to facilitate real-time social content, where appropriate
  • Contribute to content creation
  • Make strategic recommendations to drive engagement, impressions, awareness, thought leadership, lead generation/nurturing and lead conversions
  • Provide guidance on social media advertising maximizing profits and minimizing costs
  • Develop product-specific plans to assist key marketing initiatives
  • Research and Manage new tools and tech to improve results
  • Handle in-store and out of store events. Attend fashion markets. Attend & manage local & territory events.
  • Photograph models and others during engagements and events
  • Handle professional photo shoots and other photo sessions
  • Handle website updates & vendors
  • Deal with retail stores and other wholesalers & sales reps revolving around Marketing
  • Manage fashion shows
  • Head up media campaigns
  • Work on marketing for all formalwear
  • Manage other marketing associates working on marketing
  • Work with retail store management & wholesale business manager
  • Deal with other wholesale vendors and retail stores on marketing campaigns and requests
  • Finally work on Wholesale division marketing

Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as knowledge of social media.
  • Passion about all aspects of marketing and a good understanding of other marketing disciplines (copywriting, graphic design, photo editing)
  • Understanding of Marketing software & digital media
  • 2-3 years of Marketing/Social Media experience
  • Fashion industry experience preferred
  • Sales skills utilizing various methods
  • Upsell existing accounts and sell to new accounts (also involves cold calling)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to effectively multi-task a high standard of verbal and written communication for internal and external audiences
  • Expertise across all major social platforms. Including; Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  • Experience developing and executing paid media campaigns across various social platforms – preferably for a leading b2b brand
  • Bachelor's or Associates Preferred

Experience

Job Type: Full-time, requires weekend work when needed

Base Salary will depend on experience plus Commissions

Pay: $37,000.00 - $42,500.00 per year
