About the Role

Esper is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive the sales pipeline through cold outbound outreach. The SDRs at Esper work with technology teams across multiple industry verticals that are looking to maximize the ROI from their Android device fleet. At Esper, we focus SDRs on what they love the most - execution. So all of the research and account building is being done by the market research team and you focus on cold calling and personalized outreach. If you’re not a big fan of admin tasks but love building pipeline and getting the message across to prospects this is a perfect opportunity for you.

Why This Role is Unique

As an Esper SDR, you will execute on outbound ABM campaigns, communicate with prospective customers, support the DevOps community in their early exploration of Esper, schedule time to understand company initiatives, and set up appointments between qualified leads and the sales team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Initiate outbound calls and emails to inbound and outbound prospects in roles ranging from Software Developers to VP/C-level technology executives
  • Manage inbound lead traffic according to established SLAs
  • Qualify accounts to create opportunities for Inside Sales Team.
  • Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and Inside Sales Team
  • Accurately track and record activities in Salesforce and Outreach.io
  • Work with Sales and Marketing leadership in support of lead generation campaigns

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ months of sales development experience, including cold calling, emailing, social selling, or technical experience/experience prospecting technical personas and offering a complex technical solution (both are highly desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and pivot based on prospects’ needs
  • Comfort and success in multitasking, process management, and activity tracking
  • Interest in developing a career in technology sales
  • Commitment to personal and team success

Salary Range:
Base: $50,000-$60,000
Variable: $15,000-$25,000 contingent upon the KPIs outlined in the Company's Sales Incentive Plan
