Our office is growing and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding Agency. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have. Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position. Our office is located in a beautiful commercial building located in Renton with beautiful individual offices that each include a view from the 3rd floor. There will be the option to work from home 1-3 days per week after probationary/training period.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, make changes to policies
• Market and sell appropriate products and services
• Answer phones and make outgoing calls for offers and quotes
• Schedule appointments
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.

Requirements

• Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license (30 days)
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Create relationships from a cold start
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
• Must be highly self-motivated
• Professional phone etiquette
• Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills
• Problem-Solving Capabilities
• Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
• Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills
