We are looking for an experienced business development director and office manager position in a prestigious dermatology, cosmetic and vein practice.

We are a high-end dermatology and vein practice offering medical, surgical and cosmetic services located in Venice, FL, one of the most beautiful and most desired places in the country with incredible entertainment, dining, art, and schools. Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years office manager experience in a dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa (Required).
  • Proven records of business development, management and leadership .
  • Hands on experience with administrative operations.
  • Excellent skills needed in forecasting, market based planning, communications and public relations.
  • Demonstrable experience of interpersonal, communication, diplomacy, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Highly motivated team player and willing to take on any task.
  • Broad business acumen.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations.
  • Flexible approach to work and a high level of drive and ambition to help achieve the organization's goals.

Principle Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of business and marketing plans.
  • Define, create and modify the growth strategy for different segments of practice.
  • Ability to envision and develop short-term and long-term growth plans for the company.
  • Identify and implement processes that contribute to business growth and patient retention.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership on a daily basis.
  • Successfully drive revenue and profit through the implementation of daily processes.
  • Achieve business objectives such as weekly and monthly KPI’s and quarterly revenue numbers.
  • Ability to provide key reporting and analysis as it relates to a variety of key performance indicators and account performance metrics and benchmarks.
  • Deliver frequent presentation to leadership including new proposals, and new related business opportunities.
  • Budget Development & Execution.
  • Revenue Cycle Oversight.
  • Provider RVU productivity management.
  • Ensures comprehensive external information is gathered on a continual basis with regard to markets, customers and competitors.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the Marketing Team.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Develops and manages the marketing department's operating budget.
  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans and programs quarterly and annually and on an as needed basis for the facility's long and short term goals.
  • Ability to plan, manage and execute events that drive patients to our practice.
  • Organizing and attending networking events.
  • Attending local events, conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Manage event projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Developing relationships with other providers.
  • Compliance audits and training.
  • Oversee external vendor and venue relationships.
  • Negotiations and deal closing - Need to have proven ability to close complex deals including those with various vendors for supplies and equipment purchases.
  • Compares research findings on local, regional and national data in order to identify areas for potential cost and quality improvement by product-line and physician practice patterns.

Principal Office Management Responsibilities:

  • Participate in process improvement and quality assurance activities in various departments.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
  • Oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
  • Provider on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Provider Recruitment.
  • Mentor and coach team to support and encourage learning and development.
  • Lead and manage a team to support the practice mission and vision, while positively impacting company goals.
  • Lead and participate in morning huddles and morning staff meetings.
  • Resolve patient and team member issues effectively and fairly.
  • Learn and become familiar with all the services provided.
  • Present a professional image, enthusiasm, dependability, motivation, and exceptional customer service to be a team role model.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by management team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
