JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales Department, from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives, the Sales team to develop future and repeat business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds Coordination of groups/events as contracted. Contact and provide appropriate follow-up on all signed/contracted business and determine/coordinate all needs of the customer. Responsible for effectively communicating with the various departments to ensure that the meetings/groups and related functions are executed to exceed the clients expectations. Responsible for maintaining and updating sales files in CRM. Develops/maintains strong customer relationships. Have current knowledge of hotel rates, market trends, strategies and policies. Assist with completing any required sales reports. welcoming and engaging guests as appropriate.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required Excellent communication skills verbal and written Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; able to work under pressure in a team environment. Computer experience including MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word & Excel). Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets Excellent organizational and administration skills Excellent organizational skills and professionalism and attention to detail Previous experience in a sales role and customer service Problem solving and good communication skills. High School Diploma or equivalent; plus, one year of office clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
