JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Associate

SUMMARY OF JOB
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible
for providing sole support to the sales team by performing a number of
administrative tasks. In addition, he/she will provide assistance to the
Administrative Services department as needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES (ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS)
1.
Communicates
with customers and enter orders, answers questions, conducts research as
needed.
2.
Communicates
with outside sales representatives concerning customers requests and
requirements.
3.
Reviews
the accounts receivable and performs collections
4.
Prepares
quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers.
5.
Assist
with monitoring all direct sales on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
6.
Identifies
trends and monitors sales margins.
7.
Maintains
all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
8.
Maintains
all sales demonstration tools and applications.
9.
Develops
technical presentations for potential customers.
10. Maintains up-to-date awareness of company
activities, industry trends and government regulations.
11. Answers Phones
12. Assist with other duties as assigned

SCOPE (INCLUDING SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES,
IF APPLICABLE) (for example, corporate, regional)
Provides inside sales and administrative
support to Merchants Export.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (minimum experience,
knowledge, background)
1. High School diploma
2. Prior sales experience, preferably in a food
distribution environment
3. Microsoft office skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF APPLICABLE)
Able to work in an office environment and lift
up to 25 pounds.

Pay Rate $19.00 to $20.00 an hour
