Bruker Optics has an opening for a Channel Sales Manager who will oversee the territory of the United States and Canada.



The successful candidate will manage and support the Bruker Optics third party agents/distributors (TPAs) for the MIR/Raman/NIR/Process/Remote Sensing product lines for USA and Canada














Responsibilities










This role reports to the Director, Sales Applied Spectroscopy with a dotted line to the Director, Sales MIR/Raman.
Minimum Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in Channel Sales.
Evaluate and prospect potential TPAs through exhibitions, site visits, etc.
Coordinate and support training of TPAs (technical & sales)
Work with TPA's to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings.
Manage day to day activities of TPAs, such as pipeline funnel reporting, marketing activities, lead generation, target achievement, etc.
Support TPAs to be successful and replace low performers.
Work closely with direct sales representatives to support territory business growth.
Seek new market opportunities and applications
Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
Support customer events like trade shows, webinars, workshops, etc.













Qualifications










Demonstrated ability to learn both the technology and the sales techniques used by Bruker Optics in North America
Ability to work in an analytical environment: being focused, ability to deal with complex requests
Capable of working in high stress situations with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs
Willingness to travel (at least 25% of the monthly working time)
The position requires good people skills to easily connect with people from different markets and backgrounds
Competency with efficiently and professionally guiding clients through the sales process
Preferably 3 years of sales experience in an analytical environment
Education: Bachelor, Master's or PhD in physical/biological sciences or engineering
