Job Overview:
Working as part of our ISO Center of Excellence Team, the Sales Operations Analyst ensures efficient execution of our distributor / customer sales & incentives programs by ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of trade funds, along with identifying / resolving operational risks to revenue recognition.
This individual contributes to our vision of sustained top-line growth by driving trade activity efficiency, operational visibility, while streamlining processes to improve relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Prepare operational / trade reconciliation reports: Identify items for discussion by consolidating bottler feedback, comparing invoices issued vs. payments received by distributor / customer, performing fulfillment gap analysis, while collaborating with cross functional teams for timely execution
Assist with distributor / customer facing operational calls: identifying revenue recognition risks, inventory adjustments, claims, and credit issues highlighting points of potential disputes & proposed resolutions
Drive visibility regarding product supply fulfillment gaps, along with opportunities for improvement / alternate sourcing recommendations across the network
Create reports and findings across multiple Sales Divisions as required, and participate in meetings to finalize / influence funding and operational decisions
Perform accrual / execution reports bottler claims vs. program mechanics to identify preliminary findings (e.g., bottler error, KDP error, etc.) and consolidated report of impacts
Connect / build relationships with distributor teams to become point-of-contact for operational / trade activity inquiries
Self-motivated cross functional collaborator, who ensure timely execution of trade activity / promotional planning / route-to-market activities
Issue corrections and action plans to Finance and Divisional Sales Teams
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university required in a quantitative discipline
3+ years of experience in operations / finance / accounting roles
Understanding of trade or customer finance, preferably in a consumer-packaged goods setting (e.g., billing and reconciliations processes, price & pack pricing, promotions, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Access
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead internal communications, meetings, and influence distributor management stakeholders
Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
