We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join our Accounting team in NH.
Sales Tax/GL Accountant Manchester, NH
In this role you are responsible for all aspects of companys sales tax compliance and preparation of sales tax returns. Responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Main responsibilities :
Manages the company-wide sales tax process, including implementing changes, process improvements, training, and enforcement of procedures
Prepares and files all State and Local Sales Tax Returns in an accurate and timely basis.
Maintains all records required for successful audits.
Continuously monitors relevant state and local sales tax laws and developments to stay current and ensure compliance, including coordination with external sales tax advisors.
Performs all additional State compliance activities such as business license renewals, secretary of state reporting, maintenance of registered agent, and any other state or local registration, tax, or permit requirements - excluding income taxes.
Maintains sales tax rates in the ERP software.

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, working in the office at our Manchester, NH location.
What you bring to the table:
BS degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum five years related experience required. Past experience with multi-state sales tax compliance preferred.
Computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of MS Office required.
Individual must be detail-oriented.
Requires the ability to hear, see, and talk, as well as the use of repetitive motions of both wrists. Individual sits for extended periods of time.
