Dayton Granger, Inc is seeking a Account Sales Manager that will center their efforts on optimizing the customer experience and building strong relationships through a combination of proactive customer contact and responding to inbound customer requests.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities of Account Sales Manager:

  • Responds to all customer inquiries and prepares and sends accurate quotes to customers. Routinely, provides follow-up calls.
  • Initiates, administers, and coordinates commercial sales/purchase orders, repair orders and customer credits.
  • Reviews incoming purchase orders for price, delivery date, payment terms conditions and quality clauses and process sales orders in the Oracle Sales Management system.
  • Attracts potential customers and generates additional business from existing customers by answering product and service questions and providing information about other products and services.
  • Coordinates and interface with inter/intra departments to ensure purchase order requirements are met.
  • Provides verbal and formal quotes as well as follow up calls to current and potential customers after providing quotes.
  • Provides technical data and information for customers. Expedites sales orders when necessary.
  • Assists in order entry and filing when necessary.
  • Provides excellent customer service to DG’s existing and potential customers. Works with customers to increase or maintain (as applicable) DG’s customer satisfaction ratings relates to sales, support, customer service, and contract matters
  • Works with the Marketing Department on finding additional leads and developments.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

. Minimum Qualifications Account Sales Manager :

  • Minimum of Associate’s Degree in a business related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales-related position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency including, Microsoft Office Products and ERP software.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business information such as contracts and purchase orders.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Great people skills to be able to interact effectively with customers, management, Engineers, project team members, as well as employees in manufacturing.
  • Positive attitude, a very high level of self-motivation, and the willingness to be hands-on.
