Medical Informatics Corp. (MIC) a medical software company that aims to save lives by improving how patients are monitored. Our solution, Sickbay, collects patient data, stores it, transforms it and delivers results to doctors and nurses in real-time. We continue to build on Sickbay to identify early warning signs of patient deterioration in data which was previously lost within hospitals. This allows us to provide predictive alerts to care providers who can remotely or locally diagnose the problem and intervene before symptoms become life-threatening.

Duties and Responsibilities         

  • Execute lead generation and prospecting activities to develop net new sales opportunities
  • Nurture, create relationships and develop Marketing generated leads for new opportunities from webinars, conferences and inbound requests for information
  • Research potential prospects for target health systems using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the internet to customize outreach
  • Develop and implement campaigns to specific personas within Salesforce to expedite tracking of campaign success and performance measurement 
  • Understand clinical roles and responsibilities within the healthcare setting, especially critical care
  • Draw conclusions for customer gaps in current solutions and recommend possible MIC solutions to assist in solving customers clinical needs
  • Document customer clinical environment (eg. current provider workflow within acute care settings such as ICU, Telemetry, ORs, etc.)
  • Ensure that account, contact, and activity data is entered in Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Organize and schedule appropriate resources for sales meetings
  • Set and track sales targets and OKRs 
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new campaigns, features, or products 
  • 5% travel required
  • Performs other related sales duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience in a similar role with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Dynamic, professional presence for video meetings
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Creative problem solving, listening and curiosity
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM, LinkedIn / Sales Navigator and the Google Suite of products preferred 


Your mission 

The Sales Development Representative is the front line for outbound sales prospecting to increase revenue generating opportunities and ultimately expand the client base for the Company. This involves working both with organizations that do not currently have MIC solutions as well as those that have a current footprint that can be expanded to include additional solutions and/or facilities.
