Expand our marketshare with your IT Solution and Talent Services Sales expertise!

Join Ciber and expand and grow your career through expanding Ciber’s footprint in  IT solution and Staffing services. You will be driving sales revenue  through individual staff augmentation and project SOW services.  

Ciber is seeking a Salesperson with  IT Solutions and Staffing Sales experience  to join our team.  As a hunter, your focus will be winning new business by developing new relationships within geography based prospects.

We are interested in finding an accomplished Salesperson deeply familiar with the Pittsburgh market, who has overachieved throughout their career and built strong, deep relationships with clients.

This is a hunter role that will leverage Ciber’s entire portfolio of IT services. The role works in collaboration with marketing and solution sales teams as each unit plays a critical role in creating demand and capturing qualified opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Drive revenue and increase headcount billing
  • Strong listening and interpreting skills to properly qualify client requirements.
  • Ability to negotiate rates, strong understanding of the IT market as it relates to rate cards
  • Achieve lead generation, prospecting, and other business development goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with senior management at targeted firms.
  • Work in close collaboration with Ciber’s delivery and solution teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers’ business and technology needs.
  • Provide support to customers during the initial phases of an engagement.
  • Follow up and ensure total client satisfaction through the life cycle of the relationship.
  • Support the team’s market research and competitive positioning analysis in partnership with regional presales, marketing, and product development staff.
  • Adhere to all Ciber business development, human resource, and corporate ethical policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.
  • Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of success in selling technology outsourcing & digital services across industries.
  • Demonstration of a consistent over-achievement of client acquisition targets.
  • Strong local contact base and access to alumni, local associations, industry associations within the region.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage often complex negotiations.
  • Post COVID mandates - The candidate is expected to travel regularly to regional prospect and customer locations to support lead generation, sales presentations, negotiations, engagement implementation, and ongoing relationship building.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or graduate of Sales Business School or demonstrated work history equivalency.
  • Demonstrated background in selling IT Solutions and Talent Services.
  • Preferably working in a leading IT services or Talent Services firm with prior experience of working with offshore teams.
