Summary The General Manager provides operational, financial and organizational direction to various office services-related functions within the retail locations in the areas of merchandising, expense and loss control, profit management, budget planning and supervision in order to ensure efficient and economically sound operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide operational and organizational direction to various functions including sales, purchasing, operations, and equipment service and maintenance division including expense and loss control, profit management, budget planning and supervision in order to ensure efficient and economically sound operation. Oversee the development of contractual agreements to ensure compliance with corporate purchasing and selling policies and procedures. Evaluate pricing structures, service and maintenance agreements, delivery and related functions to ensure high-quality vendor performance and cost controls. Evaluate proposed policies and procedures and make recommendations for increased savings and cost reductions. Monitor the procurement of equipment instrumental to the performance of the office products and services operations. Assess information, ensure accuracy and develop and administer plans to ensure efficient operations. Prepare reports and analyses to include setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions. Evaluate fiscal requirements and review budgetary recommendations. Monitor the verification and reconciling of budgeted funds. Direct personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules. Primary Interactions Interfaces with executive management, customers, sales representatives, accounting and other internal and external resources as needed.
