We have an open opportunity for an Account Manager, responsible for managing and growing a territory. This inside sales position is a great opportunity to put your previous experience to work. You will be developing existing accounts, and prospecting for new business to a pre-defined set of prospects.

Financial Media Group, located in the south DTC area, offers SaaS and other marketing services to financial institutions and insurance companies across the US. No previous experience in financial services is required, but you must be professional, self-motivated and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in sales and account management is a must.       

As an Account Executive, your duties will include:

  • Managing existing accounts and cross-selling them on additional services to increase their sales with the company
  • Providing support for services under contract, and renewing license agreements    
  • Making approximately 40 out-bound prospecting calls per day
  • Keeping diligent notes on all activity in our CRM (SalesForce)

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should be well organized and deliberate in prospecting activities, as well as polished when presenting recommendations, and preparing proposals. Successful applicants must be assertive self-starters, truly love sales and have the ability to connect with key decision makers and cultivate relationships over the phone and online.

Additional helpful qualifications for this role include:

  • 4-year college degree required
  • Previous experience selling Software as a Services (SaaS) preferred
  • B2B sales, and/or other inside sales experience in a professional environment
  • Experience with a CRM software application, (SalesForce preferred)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Good technology skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits

As an Account Manager with FMG, you will be able to grow your career with a company that invests in YOUR success. We offer a base salary between $35-40K, plus monthly commissions and year-end bonus opportunities. First year commission potential $15-20k.   Benefits include, health insurance, 401K and paid holidays and vacations.
