If you have heavy cold calling, lead generation, and successful account management experience, and are aggressive, professional and does not mind working long hours to generate an expected six figure compensation, then we encourage you to apply.

After a training period where you will be building a client base and earning a base salary plus commission, this position will be commission only. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research target companies, contacts, and identify decision makers.
  • Cold-call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline (100+ calls per week).
  • Manage leads, information, and activities in an organized manner.
  • Convert new leads into accounts via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings (500+ emails per week).
  • Generate increased sales within the company's established customer base through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Overcome objections of prospective and established customers.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales.
  • Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, exhibits, and other events, when requested.  This could be local or out-of-state.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in corporate ERP system.
  • Collaborate with management and appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Enthusiastically assist in other functional areas, when requested.  We are all team players here!

Qualifications and requires skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or an acceptable combination of education and successful experience in a sales role where cold-calling is involved.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a phone-based sales position making cold-calls.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and listening skills.  Must be coachable.
  • Must enjoy engaging prospects and quickly recover from setbacks/failures.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Computer literate.  Able to quickly learn new software.  Experience with Microsoft Navision is a plus.
  • Knowledge of lacrosse, hockey and baseball is a plus.
  • Ability to travel about 10% of the time to attend sales events or exhibits on short notice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Desire to work overtime to earn a six-figure annual income.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of energy and endless enthusiasm.

No relocation is being offered. Normal work days are from 7:30am to 6pm.
