The job requires cold calling and emailing to sell new advertisers. At this time we have no positions available for Sales Managers or those interested in training others. Experience in telephone sales is desirable but not required. We will train you on effective ways of selling our product. You need to provide self-motivation, a good attitude, an ability to initiate contacts and close sales, a desire to make a good deal of money and one who recognizes that sales is truly a numbers game.


Your expected annual compensation is $100,000+, including a base salary plus commissions and bonus structure that should total well over that amount. There is no ceiling and total compensation is dependent only on your efforts. A Company calling card is supplied and travel is not required. Although we are located in the New York City area, there is no requirement to visit our offices. After all, effective remote communication is what this Company is all about!


Our clients don't come to us, we contact them. You must make the calls and follow up. There is minimal paperwork, good administrative/creative support, a quick sales cycle and freedom to operate within broad Company guidelines. Potential “local” clients are literally every business near our hotels, cruise ports, or our other venues including jewelry stores, boutique clothing stores, real estate companies, restaurants and activity companies.


What are you selling?? We distribute a daily newspaper called TimesDigest to luxury hotels throughout the US, including Hawaii, the Caribbean and other exotic ports of call worldwide. Our hotels include upscale chains like The Ritz Carlton, as well as independent luxury boutique hotels across the globe. “National” advertisers that covet upscale consumers have advertised with us, including private aviation companies, investment banking companies, and a large jewelry stores. We also have a dedicated section in each edition for real estate listings.


This is a genuine opportunity for sales pros and those 'at ease' with people.
