Fuelz, a division of McPherson Oil, is seeking an independent and highly self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.  We provide fuel management solutions to companies with fleets of all sizes through our fuel card service. The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Fleet Management products to automotive and diesel fleets, implementing our program through training new customers and increasing market share through strategic planning and direct marketing.  The Sales Representative is critical to the consistent success of our organization as they are relied upon for the growth and maintenance of an expansive territory.

We are looking for a candidate with the hunter mentality, someone who creates their own leads and is not afraid to make the calls and face to face visits to close business.  The ideal person has a minimum of five years outside business to business sales experience with an extensive history closing sales.  We will train on the nuances of our industry.

Duties and Responsibilities for Sales Representative Include:

  • Hunt and close new business in your territory
  • Achieve or exceed targeted monthly sales goals for targeted region
  • Relationship building and account management
  • Conduct presentations on Fleet Management program to prospective customers
  • Review and track sales volumes and report field activities to management on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate between customers, customer service center, and operations to improve customer/company
  • Prepare various reports and performing administrative duties
  • Increase market share and customer retention
  • Commit to travel within a given territory

Requirements for Outside Sales Representative Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in industry
  • A history of a high closing rate through a consultative selling approach
  • Advanced computer software skills in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to make decisive and independent decisions with little direction
  • Excellent verbal and written computer skills
  • Aggressive, self-motivated business developer
