Sales Rep - Respiratory / Hospitals - MA - 27033589

Our client is a leading provider of asset management and equipment rental services across the northeast. They are seeking a highly motivated sales rep to promote their services into hospitals.

Territory covers New England, including Rhode Island, but NOT including eastern Connecticut (Greenwich, Danbury and Bridgeport).  Rep should ideally live in the Boston area, but NH or RI could potentially work as well.

This is an expansion territory with zero business, so we are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that wants to join a small company and work independently.  

There will be a guarantee of $7,500 per quarter for the first year while this person establishes him/herself.  Year 2 should be more like 120-130K.  Top rep with this company is earning about 200K after only 2 years in his territory (which was an established territory at about 120-130K to start).

We are looking for Reps from companies such as: Teleflex, Smiths Medical, Intersurgical, Flexicare, Vapotherm, Tri-anim, Hill-Rom, Westmed, Airgas, PraxAir, VyAire – Vital Signs Division, Etc.


  • BS/BA degree
  • Minimum 2 years hospital sales experience, with established contacts in respiratory therapy.
  • No home healthcare reps, please.  Contact in RT must be decision makers, not case managers or discharge nurses.
  • Huge plus to sell/have sold a service, as opposed to a product.
  • No more than 2 jobs within the last 5 years.  
  • Documented track record of success.
  • Must have hospital contacts within the territory.
  • Will consider pharma if 100% hospital based and with respiratory therapy call point (they will likely be earning too high a base to consider, but perhaps if out of work).
  • Residence in the territory, and willingness to travel as needed to cover the territory.
  • Now the manager is willing to consider candidates with recent hospital sales experience, in addition to the continued search for Respiratory sales reps. The experience should include a significant amount of time selling into and establishing relationships with Materials Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.


Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 + $400/mo Car Allowance

Locations: Boston, MA  (Anywhere in the MA. VT, NH)

Travel: 30%
