Responsible for finding and selling new business for the Consumer Products Packaging (CPP) line of business. Work closely with the CPP team, nonprofit agency (NPA) network members, and the AVP of Commercial Sales. Design and implement an aggressive business development plan to achieve CPP growth goals. Respect NPA network member existing customer relationships. Strive for strategic relationships with customers that typically bring transactional work. Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets. Responsible for awareness and knowledge of CPP line of business trends and directions that may impact network direction with a strong line of business network and rolodex.

Prepare and execute an annual business plan to strategically target and sell business.
Identify, sell, and implement new CPP business to secure jobs for people with disabilities and provide revenue for business growth.
Collaborate with NPA network members to bring their customers to the network for similar work in multiple locations and/or divergent work for other NPA members.
Prospect and identify top target accounts to build an opportunity pipeline.
Plan and lead sales meetings both in person and via webinars and conference calls, involving appropriate NPA network members to the extent possible.
Utilize a CRM tool to capture activity, opportunities, contacts, and documents.
Review opportunities and clarify customer requirements to support appropriate identification of potential network members for work.
Maintain customer contact throughout a job, as needed and appropriate, to facilitate one point of contact. Respond to customer inquiries as needed.
Create and present proposals to potential customers, taking into account network capabilities.
Support CPP strategy development with appropriate marketing and sales data and through participation in CPP industry meetings and conferences.
Plan and participate in collaborative trade show activities with NPA network members, and with other SourceAmerica sales staff, to maximize impact and efficiency.
Work collaboratively with internal SourceAmerica departments to ensure maximum efficiency, compliance, and success.
Assist with building network capacity as needed, in particular with regard to locations and/or product areas where network members may be needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of the consumer products packaging industry or a closely related field with rolodex
Skilled in the use of customer relationship management systems, such as Salesforce
Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively
High-level of interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to senior-level management
Personal computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and common Internet activities
Frequent travel required
Experience in commercial sales in the consumer products packaging line of business is required, with a documentable track record of achieving sales goals.
Experience designing and executing detailed business plans is required.
Experience with selling for a distributed network organization is desirable.

10+ years with BA/BS; 8+ years with MA/MS
1 years experience = 1 year college
