SAS Automation seeks a highly self-motivated and ambitious Sales Executive to join our collaborative, thriving team. We design, build, and service End-of-Arm Tooling for all makes and models of robots, as well as manufacture component systems. The Sales Executive will be responsible for working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to implement and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives, determine viability of existing sales channels, cultivating those that are as well as establishing new ones, and undergo training to assume the duties of sales leadership. We are a high growth company poised to expand our business to greater heights.. This role will play a pivotal role in spearheading our direction. While a background in robotics and or automation is preferred it is not necessary as we will train on the nuances of our industry. The right Sales Executive will have 5-7 years sales experience in manufacturing or technical sales, a minimum of 2 years of sales management, and the ability to travel overnight 2-3 times a month.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Executive Include:

Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
Remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
Other duties as needed for success

Requirements for Sales Executive Include:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years manufacturing or technical sales experience
A minimum of 2 years sales management experience
Robotics or automation experience sales experience a plus
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
CAD experience a plus
Highly self-driven, organized and detail oriented
Visionary perspective
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment throughout multiple departments
Desire for continuous learning and improvement
