Cybertrol Engineering is seeking a highly self motivated and ambitious Outside Sales Engineer to join our team of experts. We are a control and information systems integration company, and we provide engineering services to implement control and information systems in the manufacturing industries across the globe. The Outside Sales Engineer will generate new business, cultivate existing clients and develop and execute successful sales strategies. The position is geared for a hunter, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and face to face visits necessary to win new business. A background in Engineering is beneficial, but an inner drive for consistent learning and personal success are paramount. We will train on the nuances of our industry.

The right Outside Sales Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years successful outside sales experience, experience selling services/solutions to industrial manufacturing facilities and experience selling services/solutions to engineers.

To the right Outside Sales Engineer we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities for the Outside Sales Engineer Include:

Drive business development by prospecting and executing sales strategies
Identify customer needs and facilitate an effective solution
Identify short and long term customer business needs for control and information systems integration, communicate solutions and recommend options to customers
Prepare proposals by reviewing customer needs/documentation, reviewing with customer technical personnel, and consulting with Cybertrol technical personnel
Schedule developing account relationship review meetings with the customer and Cybertrol Lead engineers
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, self-directed training, and learning from Cybertrols solutions as they are developed and tested
Other duties as needed for success

Requirements for the Outside Sales Engineer Include:

Bachelors Degree
3-5 years Sales experience
Experience selling services/solutions to industrial manufacturing facilities
Experience selling services/solutions to engineers
Understanding of manufacturing operations (food industry a plus)
Familiarity of industrial control and information systems a plus
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
Ability to travel locally with 30% overnight travel
Superb relationship management and organizational skills
Ability to learn technical knowledge
