For the right candidate, we offer:

Base plus commission to $125K 1st year; $150K+ thereafter.

Responsibilities:

Implement sales strategies aimed at penetrating and expanding current and new business relationships using traditional selling approaches (i.e., one-on-one or group presentations) and alternative e-based methods such as webinars, LinkedIn, social networking and highly targeted e-mail campaigns.
Leverage and expand existing relationships to market our products and capabilities primarily targeting parcel delivery companies (i.e., UPS, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service), airports and airlines, distribution centers and OEMs.
Identify opportunities for strategic alliances and open new market segments by various means including prospecting.
Identify and actively participate in relevant regional or national trade associations.
Understand the processes for requirements generation, system acquisition, and test/validation of new or replacement components for large parcel delivery companies.

Requirements:

Technical background or bachelors degree, preferably in a technical field.
5+ years of technical sales experience in material handling.
Proven track record of closing sales with short to long sales cycles.
Travel throughout the U.S. with an average of 10-12 overnight stays per month.
An established network within engineering, program management or purchasing departments with the large retail distribution centers or parcel delivery companies such as the U.S. Postal Service, UPS or FedEx.
Experience in leading/supervising teams to include presentations, budget forecasting and communications.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Active representation in one or several industry associations a plus.
