Due of our continued growth, were looking for highly-skilled sales professionals to prospect and sell our Commuter Check pre-tax commuter benefit solutions to mid-market and large employers in the New York/New Jersey market. Must be self-motivated, consultative and enjoy high-energy outside sales! Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for building business in an established, yet growing, territory. Responsibilities:

Create and execute multi-faceted and integrated sales plan to build business within a defined geographic market
Obtain assigned sales quota (at a minimum)
Effectively manage a pipeline in order to drive new business opportunities
Prospect, qualify, and engage new prospective clients
Demo our products/services online
Create customized proposals and presentations in support of new business development
Keep abreast of current industry and competitive knowledge
Attend and prospect appropriate industry trade shows

Qualifications:

Aggressive hunter mentality
Demonstrated and proven history of quota success as a top producer in B2B solutions
Minimum 3-5 years in a quote-driven sales position - hunting, prospecting, developing and closing opportunities
Previous Benefit or Payroll Sales Experience is a plus
Ability to identify, penetrate and acquire new business in the mid-market segment
High comfort level in consultative selling and sales closing
Ability to perform heavy cold calling / prospecting
Highly organized pipeline management in order to develop and maintain sales activity
High level of skill in consultative selling, account management and time management
Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and sales skills
Preferred sales background in selling outsourced or software solutions in the benefits, human resources and/or payroll industries
Experience selling to the middle market space and interacting with business owners and all levels of the organization
Ability to cross-sell into an existing base of business
Experience with remote management and company support
Team player attitude and efforts
Proficient with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and CRM tools
Bachelors Degree required
Candidate must live within close proximity to the Metropolitan NYC area
