POSITION SUMMARY (San Francisco Bay Area Market): Handles outside sales and account management providing quality and consistent customer service to all customers. Sources new business, sells full range of products and provides telephone support to customer as needed to support the business growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Sources new business leads; visits potential, new and existing accounts.
2.Visits jobsites to source and provide pull through selling into dealer accounts within the market.
3.Maintains excellent customer relationships and provides quality service to the customer by troubleshooting and providing follow-up on sales.
4.Takes phone orders as required; quotes prices to the customer and fills out (prices) when needed.
5.Keeps current on all related products and on industry trends.
6.Monitors sales trends and prepares related sales and expense reports monthly.
7.May oversee the work of other sales personnel if called upon. May relieve branch sales manager in his/her absence.
8.Provides support to the inside sales team (counter staff) by working at the counter as required.
9.Keeps pricing in line and updates price lists as changes occur in pricing, then confirms pricing in the system for the accounts that need updated pricing.
10.Provides leads to outside sales team by identifying any account that has potential for growth.

12.Contacts customers with past due accounts and collects accounts receivable as required.
