Medicare Sales Manager

Salary $30,000 + Commission

We are looking for our team a person with a health insurance license with at least 3 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the Medicare Market, including regulations and trends. Experience in generating sales and managing insurance agents and Medicare agencies (federal program).

Position Brief

Manage Medicare Department, train, lead and assist certified agents and prospective agents to work Medicare. Motivate and train certified agents and prospects to achieve optimal sales performance through product knowledge, a solid understanding of the business, implementation of compatible sales techniques, and the involvement and preparation of the Medicare team. Plan and provide training, activities, networking and quality assurance and regulations to drive continuous improvement to agents, in service and customer satisfaction.

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Direct, develop and set clear objectives and goals, measure performance, and provide appropriate guidance and training.

· Develop sales organization to meet and exceed sales goals and customer expectations.

· Lead, develop and motivate frontline sales agents and prospects by demonstrating a commitment to effective training and fostering a positive sales culture.

· Plan, organize and assist in the documentation of sales.

· Develop innovative strategies that are aligned with the focus of building a strong sales culture, learning and continuous improvement.

· Create a positive work environment by fostering agent satisfaction and long-term retention.

· Assist in skills assessment by measuring and reviewing periodic performance, providing feedback, evaluating reactions, and responding appropriately.

· Identify staff development needs to ensure they have the necessary tools to provide quality service and achieve objectives.

· Provide and schedule ongoing product and sales training and coaching to ensure satisfactory performance and continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with the Agency to document individual and team performance coaching, ensuring that feedback is consistent, timely and accurately documented.

· Identify trends and implement overall performance improvements.

· Collaborate with the Agency to determine sales incentive programs.

· Work with partners, internal and external business partners to proactively develop continuous quality improvement initiatives around customer service, customer satisfaction and positive alliances.

· Develop and implement programs that improve employee motivation and maintain a positive work environment.

· Communicate, implement, and comply with state and federal policies and Agency procedures.

· Protect the consumer’s confidential information.

· Assist the Agency with tactical planning to ensure quality customer interactions and improve overall operational efficiency.

· Troubleshoot and troubleshoot.

· Help certified agents and prospects become certified (AHIP) and with supplier certifications.

· Perform other tasks assigned to it.

Minimum qualifications

You are required to hold and comply with specific Health licenses and certifications under state and federal regulations; Advanced education in an applicable field is preferred.

1-to-2-year history of successful sales, with evidence of preferred progression.

Proven experience as a sales Supervisor leading high-volume, high-quality sales teams. Must have strong sales skills and be able to lead and motivate a sale team

Knowledge and/or experience in a highly regulated field or Insurance Sales (Insurance Producer License preference), preferably in a Contact Center environment.

It requires a reputation for collaboration, problem solving, analytical thinking, and project management skills.

Effective communication ability to communicate with sales representatives, customers, and insurance and healthcare providers. Ability to persuade and present information clearly and convincingly.

Must be positive and outgoing with proven leadership skills managing high-performance teams.

Effective analytical, critical thinking and communication skills (written, listening, oral and presentation).

Conduct marketing activities for prospecting, sales and networking using CMS approved marketing materials.

Demonstrate people skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Technical expertise in using contact center technology to include CRM, telephony platforms, LMS systems, etc.

Ability to juggle competing demands, prioritize work with a sense of urgency, meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and deliver on commitments.

Excellent customer service skills in dealing with internal customers at all levels.

Promote business culture through a conduct of professionalism, kindness, respect, integrity, collaboration, teamwork, agility, and positive energy.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
