Now Hiring - Multi-Family Property Manager in Westborough, MA

Our firm ([please apply online] is a rapidly growing owner, operator and developer of apartment communities throughout New England with expansion plans in the mid-Atlantic and Sunbelt markets. We currently have a portfolio of nearly a dozen communities in New England ranging in size from 10 to 150 units, and are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team to both manage properties within the existing portfolio as well as be an integral part of the continued growth and expansion efforts of the company. Some travel throughout Massachusetts will be required.

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market ready standard and ensuring high level of service at all times. Property Managers are also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with office employees, vendors, contractors and municipalities to maximize the performance of the properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensuring the smooth running of our communities in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
• Assisting in planning and implementing capital improvements and branding efforts across the portfolio.
• Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including maintenance and accounting personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and performance.
• Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of the markets and competitive properties within the regions we operate.
• Supervise day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are being followed.
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
• Maintain residents’ files in accordance with company’s standards.
• Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budgets and finances.
• Maintain positive relations with all community vendors, prospects, residents and team members.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of on-site property management experience
• Experience in supervisory role and managing staff
• Experience writing and maintaining budgets, and other property management financial tracking
• Proficient in Appfolio property management software or other similar property management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
