The Position: Inside Sales Support
Inside Sales Support provides quotes to customer by either taking information given to them from our service technicians, outside sales reps, or from customers calling in. Quotes involve repairs, supply or installation of fluid handling equipment serviced and/or distributed by GPC. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with service technicians, service coordinators, the purchasing department, outside sales reps, and sales support team members.
This is role is in the Chelmsford office full-time, hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quoting of all products, parts, and service labor.
• Communicating and planning Aftermarket service projects with internal teams.
• Clearly discussing specification and expectations of project scope with customers.
• Provide technical phone support to customers for all products.
• Assist incoming customer calls for parts sales.
• Sending out quote requests to manufacturers and vendors.
• Utilizing manufacturer pricing and sizing tools.
• Performing follow up calls to customers on pending quotes.
• Coordinating with subcontractors for needed services.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Inside Sales Support Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, College degree desirable.
• 2-3 years of prior customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Experience or knowledge of pump and motors is desirable.
• Prior knowledge and experience with trade field repairs.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn and adapt to proprietary software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel).
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Great time management / prioritization skills.
• Vendor interaction experience.
