Overview










Milton CAT is seeking an experienced team leader for our Earthmoving Product Support Sales Team. This position will be a corporate, territory-wide role responsible for driving parts and service sales, strategy, and efficiency. Customer experience and employee development will be a main focus. This role will also include extensive engagement with Milton CAT Parts and Service Teams and Caterpillar Parts Representatives. This role currently has 3 regional Product Support Sales Managers as direct reports.














Responsibilities










Understand Sales growth initiatives across the enterprise and the role that aftermarket plays
Interpret growth goals to those that cross departments and those that are Product Support specific
For cross departmental goals, establish collaboration with other department owners on alignment and actions
Translate the aftermarket growth initiatives, along with data generated from OLGA, to set region specific targets in partnership with the regional managers
Based on the targets set, evaluate the impact of growth and any associated resources needed or potential constraints in partnership with regional managers
Establish targets, metrics, and performance assessment
Monitor and Drive Aftermarket metrics and projects such as assessing performance and efficiency
Leverage KPI's and sales data to interpret and react based on real time sales data; refine and redirect objectives with the regional manager as needed
Responsible for coverage assessment, hiring and territory structure
Create and collaborate on employee development and training programs
Coordinate and Facilitate delivery of Sales Team Training with Milton CAT Trainers and Resources
Engage in cross departmental meetings to collaborate and support
Customer meetings on issues and opportunities
Improvement within the parts and service sales team
Troubleshooting and solving efficiency gaps for service and parts department
Partner with Caterpillar on annual goal setting, dependencies, customer feedback and field insights
Reinforce positive customer interaction and identifying gaps in customer experience
Collaborate with other leaders at Milton CAT to promote teamwork and culture across departments
Travel to Branches and Industry events
Proactively problem-solve to improve sales team efficiency













Qualifications










Strong communicator and collaborator
Proficient computer skills and ability to leverage technology for business insights
Quick learner who adapts to new systems and technologies well
Proactive and strategic approach to leadership and territory management
Leadership skills and public speaking abilities
Sales experience in Heavy Equipment Industry, preferably parts and service (3 years minimum)
Ability to lead a team with demonstrated supervisory experience required
